BIOGRAFIE:

Anouar Hajoui alias DJ Cut Killer wird in Marokko geboren und wächst in Paris auf. Bereits 1991 kommt man in der Hip Hop Szene nicht mehr an ihm vorbei, da er so ziemlich jedes DJ Battle gewinnt an dem er teilnimmt. 1992 verplichtet Hip Hop Pionier Dee Nasty, Cut Killer als festen DJ für seine erfolgreiche Radiosendung. Schon 1993 übernimmt Cut Killer die Sendung und macht sie zu Frankreichs Nr. 1. Auch seine fast monatlich erscheinenden Mixtapes, durch die MCs wie Fabe oder Busta Flex erstmals Gehör finden, könnten kaum besser laufen. 1995 spielt Cut Killer im Kultfilm "La Haine" mit und co-produziert Akhenaton`s Debüt Album "Métèque du Mat". Spätestens ab Mitte der 90er verdient der DJ aus Paris den Beinamen "hardest working man in show business". 1996 released er mit Hip Hop Soul Party 1,2 und 3 seine ersten Mixtapes auf Vinyl und tritt mit eigenen Releases den Hype um Crews wie Lunatic oder Menage à 3 erst richtig los. 1997 folgt das legendäre erste "Cut Killer Show" Album, welches ihm seine erste goldene Schallplatte einbringt. 1998 released er noch das "Operation Freestyle" Album, auf dem er vielen Underground MCs eine Chance gibt sich zu zeigen, bevor er dann mit DJ Kollege DJ Abdel das Label Double H gründet. Auf diesem signt er die MCs Doudou Masta und Fabe, dessen zweites Album wird der erste Release auf Cut Killer`s neuem Label. 1999 dropt er das "Double H DJ Crew" Album und es dauert nicht lange bis Cut Killer`s Label zu einem der stärksten Indis des Landes aufsteigt. Im Jahr 2000 setzt Cut Killer seine erfolgreiche Hip Hop Soul Party Reihe fort, Teil 4 erscheint diesmal und auch künftig in Zusammenarbeit mit DJ Abdel. Im selben Jahr produziert Cut Killer den Soundtrack zu "La Squale", das dritte Album von Fabe und dropt die"R'n'B 2000" Compilation. Aber das Sahnehäubchen 2000 wird das von ihm produzierte Album "Le princes de la ville" von 113. Denn das Album der drei MCs, die er Anfang des Jahres erst gesignt hatte, wird zum Rap Album des Jahres in Frankreich gewählt. 2001 geht die Hip Hop Soul Party in die nächste Runde (Teil 5) und endlich erscheint der zweite Teil von "Cut Killer Show", dem diesmal sogar Platin verliehen wird. Zwei weitere Alben folgen 2002: "Ragga Killa Show" und "Un son de rue". 2003 kommt der sechste Teil der Hip Hop Soul Party in die Läden, Cut Killer produziert das Debüt Album von Doudou Masta, signt den MC Jewel und mit "Party Jam" schiesst Cut Killer gleich noch eine Compilation hinterher. 2004 produziert er dann das zweite Album von Zoxea und ebenso das Debüt Album von Double H Neuling Jewel. Und weil Mr. Cut Killer niemals genug zu schaffen hat, legt er natürlich noch fast jedes Wochenende in seinem Pariser Club auf, mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass er immer noch seine Radioshow hostet. Anfang 2005 released er die HH Classics Vol. 1 Compilation, realisiert die DVD Dokumentation "Le Doc" und Ende des Jahres beginnt Cut Killer mit "Street Francais" eine neue Mixtape Reihe. 2006 packt er einige der besten Freestyles aus über 10 Jahren Radioshow auf ein Mixtape und released "Radio Freestyles" oder steht für den Best Of Release von Soprano am Mixer. Mitte des selben Jahres gelingt Frankreichs Nr. 1 an den Desks der ganz grosse Wurf: DJ Who Kid, seines Zeichens G-Unit Member und US Mixtape King, holt Cut Killer ins internationale Unit Boot und zusammen dropen die Beiden mit "Mixtape Evolution" einen ersten Release. Anfang 2007 setzt der nun offizielle Shadyville Member seine erfolgreiche "Street Francais" Reihe mit dem vierten Teil fort und setzt in der Folgezeit u.a. das Comeback Mixtape von IAM um.
