Schon Mitte 2002 dropt Mojo mit "La Classik" sein erstes Mixtape und wird danach im Underground des Planet Mars gefeiert. Obwohl er weiterhin auf vielen Mixtapes vertreten ist (zum Beispiel auf Releases von DJ Djel) verschwindet er kurz darauf wieder in den Tiefen des Underground. Erst im Jahr 2004 taucht er wieder auf der Bildfläche auf und kann sich mit seinem Beitrag zur Projet Ares Compilation erneut ins Gedächnis der landesweiten Hip Hop Szene rufen. Die Folge ist ein Deal beim aufstrebenden Indi Lyrical Lab und dort dropt er Mitte 2005 sein Debüt Album "L'effet miroir".
